Author, crafter, illustrator, gardener…

I write the much-loved Connor Falls Christmas series as Robin Maderich (and a long-ago historical romance called Faith and Honor). I also write young adult fantasy as Jo Allen Ash, paranormal romantic suspense as Celia Ashley (including Midnight Hearts, on the bestseller list for fifteen weeks and gaining new life as Past Sins), and once upon a time I wrote a book as Alyssa Deane, an internationally published novel which found its way into the wide world when the rights to Once & Always were sold to various foreign publishers for translation. (Incidentally, a voting group of readers also declared the book one they most wanted to see as a movie. That would have been cool.)

Besides all that writing, I craft. A lot. Maybe too much (is there really too much crafting?). I have illustrated a family read-aloud Christmas book (H is for Home), as well as Christmas cards. And I garden. Or do my best to garden. If I didn’t value my fingers so much, I would love to learn woodworking. I’ve made soap, candles, tried my hand at crochet, and even designed the additions to the house where I now live. I tend to spread myself a little thin, let me tell you.
