I can’t say enough about readers. I had another book signing yesterday (with Autumn Jordon) at the Barnes and Noble at the Lehigh Valley Mall. The people who came up to our table were entertaining, gracious, funny, interesting, respectful, just absolutely wonderful.
It has been the same everywhere we (or she or I–depending on whether we’ve been solo or together on a book signing) go. Book lovers, and even those who professed to not having read in a while, gave us their valuable time, not only conversing about our books on the table, but about so much of their lives. I am honored by their enthusiasm and trust.
Of course, one might assume someone who frequents a bookstore has an interest in books and reading. However, we have signed at other venues with the same reaction from people who come to talk with us. I can’t stress enough how much I value the time spent talking. Whether a book is purchased or not, the interaction is invaluable. I’m looking forward to much more in the upcoming weeks as we continue our book signing tour.
Here are the dates we have left for this year, although more are being set up for next year. Happy holidays everyone!

Two of the books in the Shadow Journey series (which I write as Jo Allen Ash) sat among good company on the Lehigh Valley Barnes & Noble’s “Noteworthy” shelves.
