https://www.youtube.com/embed/UwQDZid3hVo I just found this crafter on YouTube. Who would have thought something so cute could be created using rice, socks and hot glue? And she does it in fifteen minutes or less! I love the backdrop in the lead-in. All those items on the shelves are simply wonderful. I’m a wee bit jealous, lol.

Happy Halloween!
I’ve only had two trick-or-treaters in the twenty years I’ve lived in my present home. I stopped decorating for Halloween these days, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the innovative, downright fun displays in this blog reposted from Houzz. I especially like the first one. How spooky that would be on a dark night!
Coffee, Anyone?
Yes, I know, that’s not a coffee pot above. But, as you’ll soon find out, I’m not what you’d call a coffee drinker. 10 Favorite Holiday Movies I’d Watch Any Time of the Year
This may seem a little late in the season, but as the title says–I’d watch them any time of the year. Does anyone care? Probably not. But I would highly recommend all of them. Here goes, and not necessarily in this particular order (and please remember, this is only my personal opinion, so no needContinueContinue reading “10 Favorite Holiday Movies I’d Watch Any Time of the Year”
Why Go It Alone?
Note: This blog was updated on March 5, 2021 Humans are social by nature…or at least that’s what I’ve always heard. Me, maybe not so much. I am, after all, a writer, and writers spend much of their time working in their own private spaces, in their own heads, plugging along at a solitary pursuit.ContinueContinue reading “Why Go It Alone?”
