It may seem a bit early for this type of blog, but honestly, Christmas will be upon us sooner than we can blink. In addition, you will need to start gathering some of the materials for your wreath now with the onset of Autumn. I don’t purport to be an expert at wreath-making, but IContinue reading "Wreath-Making 101, Part 1 – Gathering Your Material"
It’s a Love-Hate Thing…
Well, sort of, anyway. The past few years, I have found driving in the snow a bit annoying, especially when the weather is unexpected, the roads aren't cleared, cars are in places they have no business being, and a one to one-and-a-quarter hour commute from work to home can take upwards of four. But IContinue reading "It’s a Love-Hate Thing…"
To You and Yours…
A Visit from St. Nicholas
A Visit from St. Nicholas by Clement Clarke Moore (a little fun for the holidays with this great holiday classic) Merry Christmas, everyone! You all know the poem, but I added a variety of my own illustrations to this blog for fun. One day I would like to illustrate the entire poem in the mannerContinue reading "A Visit from St. Nicholas"
Wish I was here…
What a beautiful and inspiring home this is, with it's lovely and not overdone holiday décor. I hope you enjoy this blog and the fabulous photos as much as I did.

What broke loose was a raincloud of immense capacity, which caused the worst flooding of the Hosensack Creek that I have seen in the nearly two decades I've lived here. My neighbor saidContinue reading "Lehigh County – when the levee breaks…"
We Can
I went to a show at the Sellersville Theater last night. My very first time there. As it is only thirty-five minutes from my house, I can't help wondering why I haven't visited this venue in the past. The place is, as the name suggests, a theater, with theater seats and cabaret-style tables up front by the stage.Continue reading "We Can"
Zipping It Closed
My friend and fellow writer posted this blog (ten days ago--shows how behind I am, in everything!) Kelly has written a great post (as always), personal and informative and entertaining. Hope you enjoy it, as well.
Lehigh County – After the Rain
A short ride from my home (or an ambitious walk) is a view across the valley to the hills. In this photo the hills are blue with distance, although on sunny days one might find them green with the trees that clothe them. A short downpour had just ended as I arrived and I happily climbed from myContinue reading "Lehigh County – After the Rain"
